 500TB  Series Synchronous torque limited Motors operation at 50Hz and 60Hz. They are working voltage of 24, 115 or 230 V. They are an ideal solution in applications requiring constant closing torque, such as valve/flap actuators.

These torque-limited synchronous motors utilize a magnetic hysteresis coupling between the rotor and output shaft to produce a constant torque when stalled. These motors achieve extremely long service lives in the stalled condition without the need to switch off supply voltage. 500TB motors are able to accelerate relatively large mass moments of inertia asynchronously. Once synchronous speed is reached, these motors will maintain a constant speed.
